Were Gino and Michelle Mingo

Our lives were deeply transformed by an authentic Jesus-Type discipleship. For four decades we have carried that same passion, helping pastors, leaders, churches, and families grow in what mattered most to Jesus: making disciples, that make disciples, that make disciples.

Our Story

Not a program. A process.

Gino and Michelle didn’t set out to become discipleship coaches. They were transformed by authentic, relational, Jesus-Type discipleship firsthand, and they couldn’t keep it to themselves. For over four decades they have walked alongside pastors, leaders, churches, schools, and families with a process rooted in the way Jesus Himself made disciples: life on life, impartation over information, transformation over transaction.

In 2016 they launched Roar Ministries to formalize and accelerate that mission. Today they bring the Black Belt Discipleship framework to those ready to stop merely talking about discipleship and begin making disciples.

What We Do

We help people build disciple-making culture.

We come alongside pastors, leaders, churches, schools, universities, and families to help them build authentic disciple-making culture, not as a program, but as a way of life. Through books, coaching, consulting, and speaking, we equip people to move from simply knowing about discipleship to actually living it.
